Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz vs. WKK Active Hotel Wrocław — basketball photo report

The 21st round of the Polish First Basketball League and the game Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz vs. WKK Active Hotel Wrocław marked my very first experience photographing a professional basketball match. And it was a strong start. Basketball is an exceptionally photogenic sport — fast pace, physical contact, explosive moves under the basket and raw emotions on players’ faces make almost every possession a potential frame worth capturing.

Photographing basketball requires constant focus and quick reactions. Direction changes, battles for position, last-second shots — everything happens in a split second. This match delivered countless dynamic situations and provided a valuable learning experience, expanding my sports photography portfolio with a completely new discipline.

Thanks to the accreditation I received for the remainder of the season, there will be many more opportunities to photograph Polish First League basketball.
