Sports photography at its best 😊

I had the pleasure of being the official photographer at the Chrośna Cycling Challenge, one of the most exciting cycling events in the region. My task was to create a complete photo story covering the pre-race preparations, the action on the course, and the medal ceremonies.

This race was not only about pure speed – with the winner averaging 50 km/h – but also about the beauty of the route. Shaded forest paths and open landscapes with endless cornfields created a perfect backdrop for dynamic sports photography. One of the biggest challenges for me as a photographer was chasing the riders: driving through forest trails to capture them at the turnaround point and rushing back to the start/finish line to catch the decisive moments.

Events like this prove how important it is to have a sports and event photographer who can capture not just the competition, but also the atmosphere, scenery, and emotions that make each race unique.
