Sport is best experienced up close 📸🔥
The Wiesław Czapiewski Memorial in Nakło nad Notecią is one of those events that reminds you why it’s worth photographing local athletics competitions. Not only because of the high sporting level – which was exceptional – but above all because of the atmosphere of closeness.
Here, there are no barriers creating distance. Athletes warm up just a few meters away, catch their breath right next to the lens, and the emotions of their competition are almost tangible. In such conditions, sports photography becomes more personal – capturing effort, focus, or the joy after a successful attempt is so much more than just pressing the shutter.
One of the combined events is the high jump, from which I’ve prepared a short photo report. Enjoy! 😊
